Peacemakers are everywhere.
They are the Israelis who feel moved to action at the second-class status of their Arab brothers. They are the Palestinian breadwinners who press olive oil instead of packing rockets.
They are the families who see the deaths of their children as symptoms of a violent and cyclical entaglement, not as the dirty work of an unseen and diabolical enemy.
I am traveling to the Holy Land to find these people and record their experiences because their voices are being drowned out by fanaticism and suppression.
When these people can speak, our shared human condition will compel us to listen and compel us to act.

Good Luck with your search and we look forward to greeting you in the Holy Land. Rabbi S.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize there was such a focused purpose to your trip. Will you be publishing your work? Mike1926
ReplyDeleteAt this point, this blog will be the vehicle for publishing my work. Once I have a body of work, I will review the situations.
ReplyDeleteShoftim: "Justice, justice shall you pursue." Why is it said twice? So that you'll pursue inner justice and outer justice. I love you my son, and give you to the world with a heavy but open heart.
